The human history has shown that non-violence had defeated evils, anger and hatred. The missionaries , administrators admit non-violence and the last half century has enhanced non-violence and has solved the social, insane and medical problems which were improbable before. The doctors in the hospitals would be cruel in treating patients, but later regarding the importance of kindness and sympathy they started to treat gently. There were reforms in the prisons and asylums; because torture (oftgf) made criminal more criminal and insane more insane.
The colonial administrators and anthropologists discovered that non-violence is the best policy. The anthropologists would study based on library and travelers’ gossip, but now they go to the spot and make friendship with the savage human and have discovered many things about them. The more the administrators are friendlier, the more they become efficient to win the heart of people in the new place. Otherwise they might be hostile. Even the large group of people have applied the path of non-violence in the mass movement , as Gandhi organized the people in this doctrine of boycott, non-co-operation and then he applied in India which made the discriminatory system collapse in both countries. This gave a surprise to the world and people started to believe in the power of non-violence. Same doctrine worked in British Labour Movement 1920 and the British troop could not attack Russia in Poland in when the labour refused. So, on-violence is related to individual to individual and individuals to government.
Non-violence is related to government to government but it is rare because the tradition of politics is dishonorable. Man leads a dual life as a private individual and as representative of a social group and there are two systems of morality- for private individuals and other for national of groups. Individual life is human and honest but the life of nation and the group is flexible and non-violent behaviour is rare. And it is considered to be impractical because only exceptional in some people. Individual has many circumstances in which he / she cannot perform violence; as training, social structure, education etc to learn to repress (control) feelings and emotions. Trained individuals can perform two functions; keep life in the higher level than others with the superior type of work and the second function to go to war for benefit. In these recent years individuals have not involved in solving economic problems but they have run away from complexities of life. Modern industry and finance cannot solve the economic problems because of machinery which we cannot leave because machines creates wealth to survive and the machine produced goods serves injustice when governments start to distribute. It requires capital to produce them.
In order to save the world, different problems must be solved. Scientific methods must be combined with good intentions and devotion. But today’s industrial and agricultural production, scientific methods must be applied to machine, workers and the office organisation, and on the motive of pay. The association of modern life cannot do much good. The association will and must work to find the best way to combine workers’ self government and technical efficiency, to eliminate boredom, to find best way of disposing wealth, to find investing wealth, gifts and psychological type, community life and leisure, education for children and adults, best government without temptations and lust of power etc enhances the working model of a more satisfactory type of society.
